This is our first draft of our music video. At the moment it is very much in working progress, so far we have filmed a few dance scenes, the fight between the couple and general bickering between the two e.g the sofa scene where the boyfriend is clearly ignoring his girlfriend. We still need to film a few more dance scenes and a bigger fight scene between the characters. At the moment the narrative is still quite disjointed and confusing, so we need to film a bit more to make it easier for our audience to follow along. At the moment the dance scene look very out of place, once we film more dance scenes we hope that the fit in the video nicely. We want the scenes to represent their abusive relationship, she is weak for the first two rehearsals where she is seen wearing casual work out/dance clothes. These rehearsing scenes are supposed to which represents the relationship at its weak point. Her practicing a particular dance move is symbolism for their weakening relationship. Once and once she can do the dance moves, she is able to move on from him and break up with him, the perfect dance move symbolizes her becoming stronger. We aim for the fight scene of their break up to make the song more dramatic and fit the song better as the song becomes very powerful. We haven't sorted out the transitions between clips and scenes properly but we have added some in to give us an idea of what we want our music video to look like overall. Also, we are hoping to do some more layering of film changing the opacity in final cut pro to see what affect it will give. We are hoping it give a somewhat eerie 'ghost-like' effect to the music video.
